CMC wins CCT

The Cochin Music Challengers has wristed the first position in the prestigious Celebrity Cricket Tournament organised by the Pegasus Event Production Conglomerate.

In the final match which has taken place in Kalamassery St Paul’s Stadium, the CMC has defeated the Master Blasters by 27 runs.

The winner will be awarded a huge cash prize of fifty thousand Indian Rupees and the runner-up will receive twenty thousand Indian Rupees.

In the semi-final matches that happened last day, the Cochin Music Challengers and Master Blasters vanquished the Media Strikers and Volcano Dance Fighters respectively.

Manappuram Finance Limited and DQue Watches are the prime sponsors of the sports event organised by Pegasus Chairman Dr. Ajit Ravi. Meanwhile, Breeze Sports is the co-partner of the event.

Several prominent figures working in the state’s media, film, television and playback singing have participated in the event, which began on April 2.

The Cochin Music Challengers, Online, Volcano Dance Fighters, Television Tigers, Directors’ Eleven, Producers’ Eleven, Vellithira Mixed Eleven, SUV Strikers, Maa Fighters, Media Strikers, Directors A Team, Kochin Dance Masters Cricket Team, Master Blasters, Melody Heroes, Idea’s Cricket Club, Indywood TV are the prime teams which have participated in the event.
