Harvey to spend $25m to clear abuse charges

Media tycoon Harvey Weinstein is set to use a huge sum of $25m to settle the abuse allegations triggered against him by some of his former colleagues.

As many as 30 persons have come forward so far with the serious allegation of abuse against the business tycoon.

The announced fund will be shared with each of his victims, if all of them agree with the conditions attached to the fund.

Some of the conditions look humiliating, in fact. The most dangerous among those is that the tycoon will not admit wrongdoing if the payment is accepted by the victims. Actually, the fund acts contrary to what the victims want to achieve with their decision to come out courageously against the big man.

A social organisation has already denounced the fund. It said if the fund was the justice then the system was flawed.

At this moment, it remains unclear whether all the victims have accepted the offer made by the media tycoon.

There are reports that some have strongly opposed the settlement put forth by the media strongman.

In the near future, the media tycoon is going to face a serious trial. That is comparatively a much serious charge.
