Acting sincerely upon the orders of the Indian Home Ministry, the Border Security Force officials have foiled the attempt of nearly four illegal Rohingya Muslim migrants to infiltrate into the country’s territory.

As per the media report, the BSF officials have arrested these people from the unfenced region near the Indo-Bangladesh border located in the Indian state of Tripura.

The Indian authorities believe that some Rohingya Muslims have terror connections, particularly have connections with the Pakistan terror elements, and are purposefully entering the territory to destabilise the country’s security at the behest of the Pak militants.

This year alone, nearly seventeen Rohingya Muslims have been caught by the concerned officials from the regions which share borders with Bangladesh and Myanmar. It is identified that there are several vulnerable locations in Tripura, Assam, Manipur and West Bengal. As per the findings, there are nearly seventy-five sensitive borders in Tripura alone.

In a circular released on August 19, the Central Home Ministry strictly directed the concerned to identify the infiltrated Rohingya Muslims and deport them to their respective country.

It is said that the National Human Rights Authority is not happy with the decision taken by the Indian government over this sensitive issue.

Does the country need to rethink the policy?
