Julian Assange to be quested next week over sexual crime case

The WikiLeaks founder and senior journalist, Julian Assange, will be questioned by the authorities next week over the sexual crime case filed by the Swedish government.Since 2012, the Australian journalist is living inside the Ecuadorian embassy located in London. The sexual crime case, highlighting the rape and sexual assault, against him was registered in 2010 by the Swedish law enforcing authorities.Fleeing the allegations raised by the Swedish government, the journalist sought asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy.He strongly denounced all allegations raised against him by the Swedish law enforcing body.He denied to corporate on an extradition request submitted by the Swedish authorities fearing he might be extradited to the US by the Swedish government once he reached Sweden.

 

The WikiLeaks earlier exposed several thousands of US confidential documents related to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Assange feared extradition to the US over the military data leak, says international report.A special team comprising of a Swedish police officer and public procedure will question the Australian journalist.It is learned that the Swedish special investigative team will collect the DNA samples of Assange if he agrees to it.Anyway, while speaking to the media personals, the Assange’s lawyer claims that Assange is looking forward to a chance to clear the baseless allegations raised against him.Recently, the WikiLeaks again grabbed media attention by exposing tens of thousands of personal emails of Democratic Party leaders including the presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.
