Miss Glam World to be held in Kochi

The grooming session of the Miss Glam World, the International beauty contest organised by Pegasus Chairman Dr Ajit Ravi to felicitate the most beautiful and talented women, has begun at Kerala.

Indian Express is the prime sponsor of the event which is going to take place on April 27, 2018, at the Adlux International Convention Centre in Kochi, while DQue Watches, Jyothy Laboratories and ICL Fincorp are the prime partners.

Beautiful and talented women hailing from at least forty different countries are participating in the event.

Aileena Catherin Amon (Miss South India 2015, Miss Diva Top 6 and Miss Queen of India Top 4) will represent India in the much awaited event.

There will be three rounds in the event: national costume round, red cocktail round and white gown round.

The grooming session of the event is taking place at Marriott Hotel in Kochi. The sessions, which include Yoga, Meditation, Personality Development, Beauty Care, Catwalk Training, Photo-shoot and Talent Search, will give a new confidence to the contestants.

The session is handled by Anjali Ruth, Alisha Ruth, Valentina Mishra (Mrs Asia India International), Sudakshana Thambi (Yoga trainer) and Sameer Khan (Fashion choreographer).

Renowned personalities from the sectors of fashion and cinema will be there in the judging panel of the event.

The winner will get a huge cash prize of 3.5 lakh rupees, while the first runner-up and second runner-up will get 2.5 lakh rupees and 1.5 lakh rupees respectively. The winners will be crowned with the gold-plated crown designed by Parakkat Jewelers.

Apart from the winners, the judging panel will also select Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Talent, Miss Personality, Miss Catwalk, Miss Photogenic, Miss Viewers’ Choice, Miss Perfect Ten, Miss Congeniality, Miss Social Media, Miss Fitness, and Best National Costume.

The infamous bikini round, which encourages the wrong practice of objectification of the women’s body, is totally excluded from all beauty contest organised by Pegasus, says its founder and chairman, Dr Ajit.

He adds that he aims to project our country’s culture and tradition before the world through this event.

The entry to this prestigious event is limited to the special guests who got an invitation from the organiser. The invitees are advised to adhere to the dress code suggested by the organisers; the guests have been advised to wear black, white or red coloured clothes.

Medimix, Scott Wilson, Kalpana International, Parakkat Resorts and Aiswarya Advertising are the prime event partners of the event.
