Narendra Modi is expected to pay homage to the dedicated civil servants, who had successfully demonstrated their talent in implementing the government plans. Reports say that, the award will be handed to the selected persons on the special program convened to celebrate the Civil Service day on late Today. Our authorities purposefully selected this day to felicitate the civil servants, report added. It is learned that the program will be held at the National Capital and several top dignitaries is scheduled to participate in the special function. As per reports, this award, excellence in Public Administration, is mainly given to those people who had shown extreme dedication in implementing the development programs. In addition, it is a way of recognising and lauding the hard work of a civil servant. For selecting the proper person, the centre government would have reviewed the work history of several top public servants working under federal and centre jurisdiction, says expert. It is said that every civil servants consider this award as a prestigious honour. This time, the centre government have created a new category for felicitating those people who have shown extreme enthusiasm to implement PM’s pet policies, like Swachh Bharat, Health Schemes, Jan Dhan Yojna and many more.
