Now walk on the frozen river

India witnessing total thrill this winter. Now the travellers can do a river walk and care about the cold winter soles over your feet. Walking on frozen water without a fish that lies just like a road.

Reach out to the small village called Chilling, 60 km from Leh, its a base camp for Chadar trek. The temperature dips subzero by mid-January and remains until mid-March. That’s when the river Zanskar turns into a big ice slab in the whole stretch from Nerak to Chilling.
