BJP’s Pramod Sawant is sworn in as the new chief minister of Goa. Party sources said. The swearing-in ceremony was held at 11 pm on the same day.
He will succeed Manohar Parrikar, who passed away after battling pancreatic cancer and was cremated with state honours on Monday evening. Sawant is the present Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly.
