Russian intelligence officials allegedly poisoned Pussy Riot member

Clearly delivering the message that the Russian government will not tolerate any kinds of dissent activities, the Russian intelligence officials have allegedly poisoned a member of the famous Pussy Riot, Pyotr Verzilov.

Fortunately, he has recovered from the symptoms of the alleged poisoning. The German medical authorities, who are treating the Russian, have asserted that the Russian might most probably have been poisoned.

While speaking to the media persons, the victim asserts that he might be poisoned by the Russian intelligence officials for his involvement in the Pussy Riot and in the investigation of the three journalists killed in some mysterious circumstances in Russia.

Several human rights activists have criticised the Russian government for the unjustifiable crime they have allegedly committed against their own citizen who has a difference of opinion with his government.

The Russian government has not yet made a public statement about the issue. But, notably, they have not yet bothered to reject the claims made by the victim and others.

The Pussy Riot, which happened in the Russian soil at the time the successor of the then Soviet Union was hosting a prestigious football tournament, are regarded as the biggest embarrassment Russian President Vladimir Putin has faced in his life.

The issue of the mysterious death of the journalists who were in the task of investigating the involvement of Russian private army in an African civil war is also equally controversial.
