In an effort to see progress in the Brexit negotiations, the United Kingdome has agreed to accept a heavy financial commitment, which is not likely to get the assent of the common citizens living in the UK.

It has been reported in the International media houses that as part of the controversial ‘Divorce Bill’, the UK is likely to pay a huge sum of forty billion euros to the European Union.

At this stage of the Brexit negotiation, the prime subjects, which the representatives of the Britain and the European Union is discussing, is the right of European Union citizens in the UK post Brexit, the divorce bill and the Irish border issue.

Political observers claim that the United Kingdom wants to move on to the next stage of negotiation, in which the EU is not ready to enter before the settlement of issues developed during the first stage of negotiations.

They assert that the UK’s decision to take a liberal stand in the divorce bill is an attempt to break the logjam created during the initial stages of discussion.

The EU officials and UK officials have not yet commented on the report publicised by the International media houses.
