In a bid to erase all taint applied on the UP BJP government by the irresponsible comments made by its own lawmakers, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, is set to visit the ‘Monument of Love’ (the Taj Mahal) on today.

The security has been beefed up in and around the city of Agra. As per the report, nearly fourteen thousand police personnel have been deployed in the strategical and vulnerable areas.

UP CM Yogi will become the first BJP Chief Minister of the state to visit the 17th-century monument.

In this visit, Mr Yogi will inaugurate several tourism development projects which have been conceptualised to turn the city of love to a tourist hub.

The development of tourism pathway from Taj Mahal to the Agra Fort is the prime project which has been designed to turn the face of the city.

In the recent past, the UP supremo promised to give nearly three hundred and seventy crore rupees to create the proper infrastructure for the tourism sector.

The historical monument has recently become a key element of several aggressive debates.

The unfortunate fact is that a renowned BJP leader irresponsibly claimed that the monument was originally a Shiva Temple.
