EEF demands clarity on ‘EU Workforce Policy’

While the EU and Britain officials are attending their third round discussion session in Brussels as part of the first phase of the Brexit negotiations, the UK manufacturers led by the Engineering Employers Federation (EEF), back home, has initiated an important movement demanding clarity on the kingdom’s workforce policy. It is learned that the British manufactories cannot survive if the concerned authorities take a stiff action against the EU workforce.

There have been apprehensions that the skilled EU workforce will have to leave the country once the UK exists from the European Union. On the wake of this development, the EEF has demanded that the government must announce their policy at the earliest in order to wipe out the uncertainties surrounding the EU workforce policy. Anyway, while speaking to the International media, the concerned UK officials have assured that the government will launch their initial proposal regarding the post-Brexit immigration system in the near future. Moreover, there have been indications in the statement released by the official spokespersons that no harsh step will be taken against those who are legally working or living in the country by the time the UK leave from the European single market. The survey conducted by the EEF has identified that there has been a sharp increase in the number of EU nations leaving their UK jobs in the recent time.
