Denouncing the allegation made by United States President Donald Trump that the Facebook has always been against him, FB Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg has asserted that the social media that he is running is extremely committed to creating a platform for all ideas and voices.

The FB’s move to hand over the details of nearly three thousand advertisements, allegedly posted by the Russians during the US Presidential Election, has said to be prompted the US supremo to brand the popular social media as an anti-Trump platform.

Interestingly, the US leader has similarly, in the recent past, called some liberal media houses such as the New York Times and the Washington Post as the anti-Trump organisations.

There are reports that the IT tech giants such as the Facebook and Google are likely to testify before the US Senate Intelligence Committee which is investigating the alleged Russian meddling.

Experts say that if they do so, it would put the Republicans and the US chief in a defenceless state. They add that Mr Trump is desperately trying to avoid such an awkward situation.

In the aftermath of the US elections, the Democrats alleged that the social media platforms such as the Facebook and Twitter played an important role in the Trump’s unexpected victory.
