Jimmy Carter hospitalised

Former US President Jimmy Carter has been hospitalised to solve his brain pressure issue. He has been suffering from the disease for last few days. The condition has occurred as a result of a fall.

It is in the Emory University Hospital where he has been admitted. The medical procedure to solve his condition is likely to take place later Today.

A statement released by those close to the ex-President says that his condition is stable. It adds that his wife, Rosalynn, is with him.

Mr. Carter is the 39th President of the world’s most powerful country; he ruled the country between 1977 and 1981.

Notably, he is one of the less fortunate leaders who have failed to achieve a second term in the office; in the early 1980s, he was defeated by Ronald Regan.

The 95 year old leader is the oldest living leader of the country.
