Hunter Biden, the son of the US presidential election candidate of Democrats, Joe Biden, is set to resign from the board of a Chinese company.
Recently, Republicans raised serious allegation against the Democrat candidate and his son regarding their business involvement in Ukraine and China.
Lately, a US media reported that US president Donald Trump, who is expected to seek a second chance in the upcoming presidential election, asked Ukraine and China to investigate the business activities of Mr Biden and his son.
The media report sparked a controversy in the US. It even led to the launch of an impeachment enquiry against the Republican leader.
The Democrats alleged that the US president misused his position to tarnish the image of his political rival.
The Republicans’ main defence is that the former Vice-President misused his position to silence an enquiry into the controversial business dealings of his son related to an oil company in Ukraine.
