Norwegian extremist Breivik challenges solitary confinement

Far-rightist extremist Anders Breivik, who was imprisoned for killing nearly seventy seven people in a bomb attack in 2011, on last day challenged his solitary confinement punishment at a court in Norway. Reports say that he had given a Nazi modal salute in the court when he appeared before the court on last day. According to report, he pleaded that he is being imprisoned in a substandard prison, where he is living an inhuman living conditions. Famous criminal layer Oystein Storrvik appeared in the court to plead for the infamous criminal who was sentenced to twenty one years for committing the cruel crime. Storrvik pleaded that his client deserves all basic human rights allowed to a prisoner by the country’s law. According to information, citing security reasons, the jury has reportedly transformed a jail gym into a court room for hearing Breivik’s case. The defending attorney strongly pointed that his client is currently undergoing a terrible and inhuman punishment. Currently, Breivik has been imprisoned in the highest security region of Skien prison. He is the one and only inmate in the high alert region. He is reportedly provided with basis utensils, a television and a computer with no internet facility. Meanwhile, the Norwegian government attorney denounced the allegations levelled against the government by the defence lawyer. He clarified that the culprit could develop an extremist network if he gets a luxury of liberal restrictions. It seems that the extremist may get a favourable verdict from the Norway court which gives high importance to the human rights.
