Keeping the surprise element undisclosed, the United States police authorities are still struggling to find the motive behind the Las Vegas attack in which nearly fifty-eight people killed and over one hundred others injured.

The investigators have not yet discovered any concrete evidence establishing that the brutal killer, Stephen Paddock, had any links with terror organisations, though hours after the attack some Islamic groups claimed responsibility for the attack.

It is learned that Mr. Paddock’s lover, Marilou Danley, has asserted that she had no idea about the plan. It is said that she has said to the police that her caring lover would not have done such a violent act.

Ms. Danley, who was in the Philippines when the incident happened, has flown herself back to the United States in order to meet the concerned investigating officials.

Meanwhile, the investigators are said to be trying to establish that the inhuman gunman had a secret life.

Earlier, there were reports that the killer used Ms. Danley’s identification documents to check in to the room which he used to commit the heinous crime.

At this moment, it is not clear whether the country will reconsider its weapon law taking the lesson from the repeated shooting attacks.

Anyway, the United States President, Donald Trump, visited the city on last day to express his sadness.
