Still hundreds remain in Calais camps, says Medias

Denouncing the French government’s claim that the Calais jungle camp has been closed down completely, the International Medias reportedly exposed that hundreds of ailing people including children are still living in the infamous jungle camp located near the UK border in France. An International reporter claims that he saw nearly two-hundred minors and several hundreds of people in the jungle camp. In a statement released on early this week, the French government officials claimed that over five thousand migrants have been moved to the reception centers. Anyway, it is clear that the French government has started the demolition process putting the migrants into more trouble. Those unaccompanied children who are left behind in the camp has nowhere to go or nowhere to sleep, says the media reports.

Those people who left the camp torched the temporary shelters where they were living. It is learned that it is a common culture among the migrants. The migrants usually torch their temporary homes before starting a new journey. Anyway, the demolition process has created panic among the people who are still residing in the forest areas. Some migrants assert that the French government cannot evacuate them forcefully. They added that several people are hiding inside the forest to evade the panic situation. It is estimated that nearly eight thousand people were living in the camp. As per the report, nearly five thousand people were moved by the French authorities. So, it can be concluded that others are still living somewhere near the demolished camps. It is said that several people including children are not registered so their details and their whereabouts are unknown. It seems that the French government still fear that the people may reorganize and re-establish the camp again.
