In a tactical approach to bring down the number of non-US citizens in the United States, US President Donald Trump is set to unite the illegal immigration policy, Mexican border wall policy and the new Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy together.
With this plan, Mr. Trump -it seems- aims to bring all immigration issue in a single negotiation table.
Given the fact that most of the illegal immigrants and those who are protected by the Obama’s DACA policy are Mexicans, the new political tactics gain more significance.
A section of the society including the US supremo –it seems- believe that the creation of a strong wall between the United States and Mexico help to solve the immigration issue.
The Democrats and a section of Republicans have expressed strong disagreement on all three controversial policies related to the immigration.
Since the induction of the Republican supremo, the country has been slowly eliminating all those laws and policies which give shelter to the illegal immigrants.
There is no doubt in the fact that the new US policy regarding the immigration is likely to affect tens of thousands of people presently living in the country.
Anyway, it is unlikely that the Republican- Donald Trump- take a liberal stand on the immigration.
