US NSC officer testifies against Trump before impeachment inquiry committee

United States National Security Council officer Alexander Vindman has testified before the senate impeachment inquiry committee against the president, Donald Trump, who is accused of exerting pressure over Ukraine to launch an investigation into the business relations of his political rival, Joe Biden, and his son, who was once the part of a gigantic gas company based in the European country.

Col Vindman informed the committee that he had alerted the president at least twice against his attempt to impose pressure over Ukraine.

The US NSC officer is one of the officials who heard the phone conversation between the US president and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, who is a less experienced politician than many of his predecessors.

The inquiry has tainted the image of the US supremo considerably. The Democrats have launched an expensive campaign against the leader already.

At present, the things are not favourable to Mr. Trump. The future of the leader heavily depends on the outcome of the inquiry committee report.
