It seems that the new US regime led by Republican leader Donald Trump is not ready to maintain the stability reached between the United States and Cuba by the erstwhile supremo, Barak Obama, who is a leader of Democrat Party which lost the 2016 US presidential election. The US supremo recently said that his government was planning to reinstate some restriction which had been stroked down by the former admiration during the Obama’s visit to Cuba. He called the Obama’s initiatives to replace peace between the two countries, which share two different ideologies, a one-sided deal.
Even though the US administration, if the information publicised by the top US media houses can be believed, is not going to withdraw all tries, some serious restrictions on the travel and trade are in the new policy. The Cuban admiration has strongly expressed their reservation about the derogatory move initiated by the US administration. The Cuba-US bilateral relation is the fruit of the remarkable effort invested by several top diplomats of both countries as well as some other countries of the west. Observers believe that it is disrespectful and unfair to denounce this effort by derailing the bilateral relationship between these two countries which are, unlike the past, now not in a state of war. Observers warn that if both countries take this issue to such a peak level in which the commercial and diplomatic ties are not possible it might make irrecoverable damage to both countries in terms of economy.
