While speaking to some senior reporters working for a leading national daily, one of the most influential Tamil actors Vishal, who is the top leader of the Tamil Nadu Producer’s Council and the state’s actors union (Nadigar Sangam), has sought more clarity to the concept ‘Spiritual Politics’ introduced by the South Indian superstar, Rajinikanth, who recently announced his plan to launch a new political party backed by the aforementioned concept.
The actor, while asked about his view about the big announcement made by Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan, has said that he was familiar with the terms politics and spirituality, but he did not understand the term ‘spiritual politics’.
There are rumours that Vishal is planning to enter the turbulent space of Tamil Nadu politics in the near future.
It is less likely that Vishal might launch a political party before the upcoming assembly election in which Rajini and Kanal are likely to contest as the Chief Minister candidates, while there are possibilities that the young actor might join a main stream political party before the elections.
The reporters have been given no conformation regarding his political entry, even after the youth icon has been repeatedly pressured to disclose his mind about his political ambitions.
