Tesla will operate public Megacharging sites at three new Forum Mobility electric-truck depots in California, adding 30 megawatts of charging capacity for heavy-duty vehicles. The new facilities, located across Northern and Southern California, will combine Tesla’s Megawatt Charging System (MCS) technology with CCS charging ports and pull-through lanes designed to allow trucks to charge efficiently without disrupting operations.
Tesla will operate public Megacharging sites at Forum Mobility’s FM Francis depot in Ontario and FM Adeline and FM Coliseum locations in Oakland. Forum Mobility’s Santa Fe site in Rancho Dominguez has secured commitments from fleet operators for more than 330 Tesla Semi trucks and will also provide charging access to other commercial trucking customers.
The expansion also includes the installation of two MCS Megachargers at Forum Mobility’s FM Harbor depot at the Port of Long Beach, which has been operational since December 2024. The charging rollout comes as Tesla prepares to expand availability of its Semi electric truck beyond North America, with a European launch planned for next year.
