Meta Platforms is expanding its Muse artificial intelligence agent to small businesses, adding integrations with tools such as Shopify, QuickBooks, Stripe and Canva. The move is part of the Facebook parent’s broader effort to diversify revenue beyond advertising by offering AI-powered services that can help businesses manage operations and attract new customers.
Muse for Small Business can connect with Instagram professional account analytics, Facebook Pages and Meta ad accounts, as well as business tools including Asana, Box, Dropbox, Figma, Klaviyo, Notion, Slack and Zoom. Meta said the agent can work with a company’s brand information, storefront, financial records and customer data. It will not publish content, send messages or make purchases without the user’s approval.
Meta launched Muse earlier this month as a personal AI agent capable of completing tasks such as shopping, travel bookings, emailing and making payments. The app has topped free-app charts in the United States and Canada in recent weeks, with market intelligence firm Sensor Tower estimating about 2.8 million downloads during its first two weeks. Meta said Muse will be free for most uses, while subscription plans will offer additional features.
