Arizona police: body of missing 18-year-old on vacation discovered in ‘remote’ campfire pile

Authorities said that a body of an 18-year-old male who was on vacation in Arizona had been discovered in a campfire pile.

According to a news release from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Parker League travelled from Nebraska and left his possessions at a residence in Tempe.

His family was never contacted by him after that.

“I was aware that he had lodging. I knew he arrived. We texted, and that’s about it, he said, according to his brother Hunter League, who last heard from him on June 10.

According to deputies and KPNX, on June 12, authorities were called to a corpse that had been discovered close to Bulldog Canyon in the Tonto National Forest.

The corpse was discovered in a “remote desert area,” according to authorities. On June 15, according to deputies, his family reported him missing to the Tempe Police Department.

Authorities found that his killing was intentional once his corpse was identified.

The inquiry is still underway.

Hunter League told KNXV, “It’s hard to take because he was the kindest child in the world.

About 30 miles northeast of Tempe lies Bulldog Canyon.
