The prestigious 19th edition of the Manappuram Unique Times MBA Award was presented to Dr. Vijay Sankeshwar, Chairman and Managing Director of VRL Group, on July 17 at the Gokulam Park Convention Centre, Kochi. The award was handed over by Shri Gokulam Gopalan, with Dr. Ajit Ravi, Founder of Pegasus Global Pvt Ltd and the MBA Award, presiding over the occasion.
This edition marks a significant milestone, as Dr. Vijay Sankeshwar becomes the first Karnataka-based entrepreneur to win this coveted national honor. His extraordinary efforts in building VRL Group into one of India’s largest and most trusted logistics companies have earned him not only the MBA Award but also entry into the Federal International Chamber Forum (FICF)—a prestigious club of business leaders with over ₹1,000 crore in assets and a record of meaningful societal impact.
