Idaho mass shooting: Kellogg suspect is in jail and four people have died

Four people were killed in a shooting spree on Sunday in Kellogg, Idaho, and the culprit has been apprehended.

According to the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office, at around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, they and the Kellogg Police Department responded to a complaint of four persons who had been shot to death in the city.

The case is being looked into by the Kellogg Police Department and the Idaho State Police Department. The suspect is a 31-year-old male, according to Idaho State Police, who spoke to KXLY but the sheriff’s office withheld any other information.

An on-going conflict between neighbours, according to a neighbour close to the gunshot site at Utah Street and West Brown Avenue in Kellogg. Police, however, declined to validate that assertion.

As of Saturday, the Gun Violence Archive reported that there have been 311 mass shootings in the US this year.

Small town Kellogg is roughly an hour’s drive east of Spokane, Washington.
