The prestigious 21st Manappuram Minnalai Media Awards were presented at a grand ceremony held at Le Meridien, Kochi. Organized under the leadership of Pegasus Chairman Dr. Ajit Ravi, the event saw prominent figures including Adv Dr. P. Krishnadas, Roy Manappallil, Dr. M.C. Dileep Kumar, Salam Bappu, and Deepthi Vijayakumar presenting the awards to the deserving winners.
Hashmi Taj Ibrahim of 24 News was honored as the Best News Presenter (Male), while Anuja Rajesh, also from 24 News, was recognized as the Best News Presenter (Female). The award for Best Interview Program Presenter went to Aparna Kurup from Q18 – News 18 Kerala. Aji Kunjumon of Gulf Life, Media One, received the Best International News Presenter award, and V. Aravind of 24 News was named the Best News-Based Program Presenter for his work on “Arasiyal Galatta.”
Other notable awards included B.L. Arun from Manorama News, who won Best Sports News Report for his coverage of “Vijayakuthipp Thudaran Palakkad.” Harikrishna T.S. from Mathrubhumi News was recognized with the Best Environmental News Report award for “Periya Prashnam Perumpamp,” and Sanjay Kozhencherry of Manorama News was awarded Best Editor for his work on “Nere Chovve” and “News Maker.” The event was marked by the presence of several distinguished personalities who contributed to the success of the evening.
