Mercosur temporarily expels Venezuela

Mercosur, the South American economic block, temporarily expelled Venezuela from their block for failing to implement the regulations suggested by the group. The block members alleged that the country has failed to meet the basic standards required to hold the membership of the block. As per the block rule, the countries joining the block had to incorporate certain rules and regulations in their national law.It was learned that Venezuela had joined the block in 2012. The country was advised by the block to make certain amendments in their human rights and trade laws.

The member countries of the block alleged that the country has totally  failed to do so and thereby defiled the block’s law.Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Argentina were the founding members of the block. Within a short span of time, the block emerged as one of the most powerful economic blocks in the South American region uniting countries with different ideologies and economic status.Anyway, the Venezuelan government denounced the announcement made by Mercosur calling it the decision of some officials who are trying to destroy the organisation.Meanwhile, some sources claimed that the block had given the country until December 1 to completely implement the suggestions. It was learned that some countries in the block strongly believes the Venezuela’s human right standard and trade standard are very poor, so until and unless it straightens those curves with the suggestions directed by the block it should not be readmitted in the block. Moreover, some critics claimed that the far leftist policies followed by the country are the prime reason for these poor conditions suffered by the country.
