At last, Holocaust hero officially declared dead

Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg, popularly known as the Holocaust hero, has been officially declared dead by the Swedish authorities, after several decades long search about his fate. He was said to be arrested by the Soviet army in 1945. It is believed that he died in a Soviet prison. But, the fact is that the former Soviet authorities and sources could not confirm his death so his faith remains a mystery. It is said that he saved thousands of Jews by giving them Swedish protection passes. Even though some former authorities earlier confirmed that he died in a Soviet prison, Raoul’s family was not ready to believe the statement. The family members of the Holocaust hero demanded an official declaration. Heartbroken over the former Soviet authority’s incapability to declassify the details about Mr Raoul, his mother, Maj Von Dardel, and his step father, Fredrik von Dardel committed suicide in early 1979, says an International media. However, finally, all these divine souls can ‘Rest in Peace’ because the authorities now officially confirmed that he died in 1952. But, unfortunately, his faith is still a mystery. Earlier, the World Jewish Congress alleged that Mr Raoul was executed in a Soviet Prison in 1947. Notably, the Holocaust memorial of Israel honors Mr Raoul as one of the righteous among the nations. He became a real legend after the disintegration of the Nazi empire.
