The users of bankrupted Canada-based cryptocurrency company QuadrigaCX have demanded the exhumation of the body of the deceased founder of the company, Gerald Cotten.
They have expressed serious suspension in the death of the founder of the company, who was the only person who had the secret password required to handle the funds entrusted with the cryptocurrency company.
He died in India last year due to a mysterious illness.
The demand of exhumation has come at the time the rumours question the credibility of the report of the founder’s death are spreading in certain social media platforms like a wild fire.
The wife of the deceased founder has expressed her unhappiness in the demand made by the users. Anyway, she has not mentioned whether she will challenge the demand in the court or not.
The cryptocurrency company collapsed post the unexpected demise of its founder. At the time of its collapse, the company has more than one lakh customers.
