While addressing the workers of the BJP Yuva Morcha through the renowned ‘Narendra Modi’ App, the Indian Prime Minister has indirectly said that the country ruled by the Saffron Party aims a technology revolution.
The address made via the online platform has been a part of the BJP’s election campaign in the South Indian state of Karnataka, which is going to witness an assembly election on May 12, 2018.
In the statement given through the online platform, the PM has tried to portray the Congress Party, which is the main opposition party in the election-bound state as well as in the centre, as the opponent of the ‘technology revolution’ and tactically attempted to project his party (the Saffron Party) as the supporter of the much needed revolution.
For the purpose, the PM has enumerated his government’s policies which aimed at the visionary process of intertwining technology and development, and explained how the opposition parties tried to derail these policies.
There is no doubt in the fact that the controversial policies like the demonetisation and Aadhaar will be discussed widely during the campaigns in Karnataka. The BJP leader’s attempt to give emphasis to the technology revolution, it seems, is an attempt to conceal the failures happend while implementing some of the key policies.
