Beloved actress from Kerala Asin got married to Micromax founder Rahul Sharma in New Delhi on January 19th. The marriage took place in followed by Catholic wedding ceremony followed by Hindu rituals as per Asin’s idea. It was low key private wedding attended by the couple’s family and close friends. Akshay Kumar, Asin’s two time co-star and the one who united the couple, attended the wedding.
Asin was the queen of Tamil film industry with back to back hit films like M Kumaran s/o Mahalakshmi, Ghajini, Sivakasi, Pokkiri and Dasavathaaram. She made her debut in Bollywood in Ghajini with Aamir Khan as her pair. She entered the 100 crore club with hit films Ready, Housefull 2, Khiladi 786 and Bol Bachchan, each earned over 1 billion at box office.
She was last seen opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Umesh Shukla’s All is Well.
