In one of the most successful police operations against the paedophiles, the Brazilian police officials have arrested nearly 108 people.

The massive crackdown on the paedophiles is the result of a six-month-long investigation carried out by the country’s police along with the immigration officials of the United States and Europe.

Those arrested in the operation are the members of an illicit ring which shares and accesses pornographic images of children in the dark web.

At this moment, it is not clear whether those arrested have any link with any International networks which are involved in the same inhuman act.

During the operation, the police officials have confiscated numerous files containing child pornographic contents.

The disturbing fact is that there are retired police officials, civil servants and many who hold dignified positions in the society among those who have been arrested in the operation.

It is learned that an international investigation into the issue is on. It is said that the concerned officials will seek the help of other countries to destroy the illicit child pornographic networks operating in the dark web.

As per the report, these criminal networks often use most advanced technologies to ensure that they are not caught by the IT experts.
