In an effort to reduce the post-Brexit damages, the United Kingdom is reportedly planning to initiate the Brexit process on coming February 2016.Experts say that an early exit would be an ambitious and hard process. Earlier, the newly selected UK Prime Minister, Theresa May, clarified that she need some more time to evoke the Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty. The formal Brexit process is a two-year long process. It will only begin when the UK government formally evoke the Article 50.
While meeting the European leaders at Slovakia, the European Council chief, Donald Tusk, reportedly informed his colleagues that the UK may initiate the Brexit procedures on early February 2017. He further said that he had met the UK’s PM officially to discuss the issue.Anyway, the UK supremo’s office has not yet given an official clarification about the Brexit issue.Still, it is not clear what kind of relation will exist between the UK and EU after the Brexit. Some far-rightist countries firmly insist that the EU should not allow the UK to access the free trade zone unless and until the Great Britain agrees to allow the free flow of the workforce. However, it is not yet clear whether the UK will be a member of the free market after the formal separation.Meanwhile, there is still a huge rift inside the European Union over the migrant issue. Experts say that the rising disputes between member countries are weakening the most powerful union of the world. There is also uncertainty over the issues like the transatlantic trade and EU military headquarters.
