Most of the exit poll reports predict that the Congress is expected to mark an astounding victory in at least two of the five states which have witnessed assembly elections recently.
If the final result does not move too far away from the exit poll reports, the BJP is in real trouble. The rebirth of the congress in two prime states in the Hindi belt Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh means the BJP is no longer undefeatable.
Meanwhile, some opine that if the proposed victory is the reflection of the anti-incumbency factor in the states it has no implications to the upcoming general election.
They claim that without a strong national figure the Congress is still powerless in the national political scenario.
Most political surveys endorses that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most charismatic figure in the country at present.
In the upcoming general election, PM Modi is expected to be the star campaigner of the saffron front.
With Ayodhya issue reappearing in the political platform with fresh energy, it remains crystal clear the saffron front this time is not going to campaign on the plank of development and growth, the plank in which the rightist party campaigned during the last general election.
In this situation, the best thing the grand old party can do is to find a leader who is as charismatic as the PM and is brilliant enough to counter the typical conservative campaign strategies with the liberal strategies. Don’t you think so?
