
The French Air Force has conducted a strong air strike on some of the strongholds of Islamic State terrorist organisation located in Iraq. The French army is one of the strong elements of the US-led collision attacking the infamous terror organisation, ISIS, in Syria and Iraq. As per the report, the attacks were conducted on early today. The details of the attack were not yet publicised. It is learned that the French air force is mainly targeting Mosul. It is said that Mosul is one of the strongholds of the Islamic terror organisation operating in the region. The French Air force uses one of its most modern aircraft carriers, Charles de Gaulle, in this mission. This aircraft carrier is named after French general Charles de Gaulle, who later became the President of France. Anyway, this aircraft carrier is the largest western European warship and is the first nuclear-powered surface vessel. In early September, the most powerful surface vessel had been released for this complicated mission. A French media house reported that nearly twenty-four French aircraft participated in the swift attack conducted by the French Air Force. The report added that the fighter aircraft was armed with latest laser-guided bombs. Following the dreaded Paris carnage, the French forces stepped up its military operation in the region. Earlier, in a public statement, the French supremo asserted that the French forces would avenge the militant attack carried out by the infamous terror organisation. Recently, several times, the Islamic State militants carried out targeted attacks in the French soil killing hundreds of innocent French citizens.
