The latest election results of the expatriates’ constituencies have given the newly elected French supremo, Emmanuel Macron, a clear relief as his party, La Republique en Marche, which is one of the youngest parties of the country, has achieved a promising victory in ten out of the eleven constituencies awarded to the expatriates. The opinion polls conducted in the country has predicted a clear victory for the new party offering a complete revamp. It seems that the call for complete revamp has gone well among the voters who are not unsatisfied with the traditional establishment which stands as a hindrance to the change. Earlier, it was expected that the newly elected French President might have to seek the support of the establishment to implement his revolutionary policies that he announced during the French election campaign. Now, in contrary to the speculations, the en Marche, the centrist party, might make a majority on its own if the opinion poll result is trustworthy. If it is so, Mr Macron can freely implement his revolutionary policies without seeking the permission of the establishment comprising of the traditional leftist and rightist parties. Mr Macron aims to revamp the economy, which is not at an impressive state at this juncture, and to introduce some new labour policies.
