The 2020 US Presidential Election was a tight contest. In the election, Democratic Candidate Joe Biden defeated his Republican rival, President Donald Trump, by a comfortable majority.
Though Mr. Trump has not yet conceded defeat, Mr. Biden is likely to take charge of the Oval Office in the near future itself.
The winner has secured as many as 306 votes in the electoral college, the system the US uses to choose its president.
The loser has wristed not less than 232 votes.
Actually, the US state of Georgia is the one which has helped Mr. Biden to win the election.
As against the expectation, it is Mr. Trump who has won the swing state of North Carolina.
At this moment, it remains unclear when the US President will step down and pave way for the triumph of Mr. Biden.
