Infamous writer thrown racist remarks against Priyanka Chopra seeks apology

A writer who has received serious criticised for her racist write-up in a famous online portal ‘The Cut’ against Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, Mariah Smith, has sought apology for her remark against the actress.

Recently, Indian actress Priyanka Chopra married popular American singer Nick Jonas in a colourful ceremony arranged in India.

Actually, it is not the weeding that attracted the social media community the most, but it is the racist statement written by Ms Mariah.

In her controversial article, the writer called one of the most successful Indian actresses as a modern-day scam artist. The writer indirectly said that the singer was not interested to marry the Indian actress. She added that Mr John was forced to start a relationship with the actress.

It was the singer’s family members who came first to express their disapproval against the article. Joe John, the singer’s brother, slammed the article.

It seems that the writer does not want to take up the issue forward.
