Clearly indicating that the two legends of the Tamil film industry are leading the Tamilians, who have been eagerly waiting for the arrival of a new charismatic leader since the unexpected demise of their iron lady, former Chief Minister and former AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa, towards different directions, famous Tamil actor Kamal Haasan, who recently confessed his political ambitions, has expressed his disinterest in joining hands with stylish Tamil actor Rajnikanth, who a couple of months before introduced his political party, political ambitions and a new ideology ‘spiritual politics’.
Mr Haasan has cited Mr Rajni’s political ideology’s close connection with the saffron ideologies as the reason of his disinterest.
Some political experts say that though Mr Rajani and Mr Haasan are the two popular and well-accepted figures of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, at this moment it is not clear whether they can make any concrete impact in the state’s political platform, where the Dravidian parties such as the DMK and AIDMK have been dominating for last few decades.
Anyway, nonetheless, there are many people in the state who considers the arrival of the prominent actors into the political hemisphere as the beginning of a new era of the Tamil Nadu politics.
