Khashoggi murdered at the behest of Saudi Crown Prince: CIA

A US based media has reported that the CIA has received enough circumstantial evidence to believe that Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who disappeared after he entered his country’s consulate in Istanbul to obtain some documents for his marriage registration, was killed inside the embassy by some Saudi agents at the behest of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The CIA has not yet responded officially about the news. But, the media house has asserted that they have received the information regarding the Saudi Prince’s involvement in the murder of the Saudi Journalist, who was very critical about the Saudi regime indirectly led by the prince, through a trust worthy source in the world’s most efficient investigative agency.

The media has also revealed that that the CIA has shared what they have discovered about the murder with the top officials of the US administration including the President and the concerned committees of the US lawmaker houses.

Earlier, the US President, Donald Trump, announced that he would not impose any sanctions on the Arab country. There were clear indications in the statements he made then that he was of the opinion that the Saudi Prince was unaware of the killing of the Saudi’s largest critic.

It remains unclear whether he would rethink his decision on the wake of the shocking revelation made by the agency his country trusts the most.

Saudi can’t keep its mouth shut for long. It has to tell the world whether murder is its new weapon to shut the voice of dissent. Already the elite westerners, except the US, have already turned against them. Even the US is less likely to be allowed by its citizens to tolerate the crime committed by the Arab country –it is the arms deal the US has reached with the Saudi that has prompted them to keep sanctions away from the table so far.
