Lactalis recalls at least twelve million powdered baby milk boxes over ‘Salmonella Contamination Risk’

Popular dairy products company Lactalis has recalled nearly twelve million powdered baby milk boxes over the salmonella contamination risk, around two months after the second recall in which the contaminated products distributed in some regions were called back, as the exact impact has been found to be much high that what it was initially perceived.

As per the information, the reason behind the contamination is the improper renovation work at the company’s factory in North-West France.

According to the information, the salmonella bacteria is what that made those recalled powdered dairy milk boxes of the dairy company unfit for the use of people.

The aforementioned bacteria is very harmful and can be life threatening for children, who, in actual sense, is the actual consumers of this powdered milk products.

The French authorities have warned the diary company of serious consequences over the irresponsible way in which the authorities handled the issue.

There are allegations that the company in the initial phase of the recall has tried to conceal the information regarding the actual impact of the contamination.

This is the third time the product of the diary products company has been recalled due to this contamination.

The dairy company have denounced all allegations, and expressed its willingness to face any kinds of investigations.
