The 2019 edition of the international beauty pageant Miss Glam World will be held on April 27th in the Indian state of Kerala. Participants from 38 countries around the globe will contest for the most coveted Miss Glam World crown.
The aim of the pageant is to bring out and appreciate the genuine beauty and inherent talents of young women around the globe according to its organizers, Pegasus Global Pvt Ltd. Miss Glam World is unique in its own way as it is one of the only international beauty pageants that do not judge its contestants with a bikini round.
Representing USA is Hollywood stunt-woman Rachel Stacy from Atlanta. Having worked as a stunt-double for top A listers, she was blessed with the opportunity to have worked for movies and TV shows. “My favorite part of the pageant is to interact with girls from different cultures, getting them to smile and crushing the stereotype of Americans”, she said in an exclusive interview with Times New. Although she has signed an NDA for her major projects, she was allowed to name a few of the TV shows she did that include The Walking Dead, Vampire Diaries , MacGyver, Black Lightning and so on. Stacy is also a stand-up comedian.
The pageant will have 3 rounds- National costume round, Red cocktail round and White gown round. Before the finale, contestants take part in various sessions that aim to impart knowledge in yoga, meditation, personality development, beauty care, catwalk, photoshoot and talent search which will help the ladies to gain more confidence.
