Miss USA wins Miss Glam World 2019

Hollywood stunt-woman and stand up comedian Rachel Stacy from Atlanta gets crowned as the Miss Glam World 2019. Contestants from 37 countries competed in the pageant which was held in Kerala, India.

Reshma Nambiar who represented India won the first runner-up and Daria Shapovalova from Tatarstan won the second runner up.The winner was crowned by Miss Glam World 2018 Estafania Chavez Garcia. The runners-up were crowned by the representative heads of the pageant’s title sponsors Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and Manappuram Finance Pvt Ltd. The event, hosted by Indian television anchor and actress Ranjini Haridas, was held at the Gokulam Convention Centre in Kochi.

In an exclusive interview with the Times New, a few days prior to the finale, she said that she was happy to represent the USA in an international event once again. Having worked as a stunt-double for top A listers, she was blessed with the opportunity to have worked for hit movies and TV shows. “My favorite part of the pageant is to interact with girls from different cultures, getting them to smile and crushing the stereotype of Americans”, she said. Although she has signed an NDA for her major projects, she was allowed to name a few of the TV shows she did that include The Walking Dead, Vampire Diaries , MacGyver, Black Lightning and so on. Stacy is also a stand-up comedian.

Apart from the main title, various subtitles which were pre-judged before the Grand finale were also awarded. The winners of the subtitles are:
