Mumbai Indians had the last laugh as they won the latest edition of the Indian Premier League with their superb bowling as they managed to win the title by against Rising Pune Supergiants. In one of the lowest scoring IPL finals ever, Mumbai Indians managed to win against the Rising Pune Supergiants by one run. This is the teams third title victory and Captain ROhit Sharma had termed all thre as special and said getting the right combination is crucial for the teams success.
He also praised Australian left arm pacer Mitchell Johnson, for turning the Tiles to their favour in the last over where the rivals needed 11 runs to win. Mumbai Indians made a low score of 129 for 8 after choosing to bat and Rohit said they were 30 – 40 runs shorts of what would’ve been a winning score on this pitch here at the Rajiv Gandhi stadium.
