The NDA government, led by the BJP party, is planning to launch the ambitious ‘progressive panchayat program’ in order to bring development to the under-developed panchayats. As per the report, the most discussed program will be initially introduced in Mewat, one of the most under-developed regions in Haryana.More importantly, this village is a minority dominated region. The preponderance of the people living in this region is Muslims. So, as per the expert’s opinion, this region will be the perfect place to introduce such a plan.
The region is barely sixty kilometres from the state’s capital. It is said that for last few years, the region has been suffering from several ‘law and order’ problem and corruption.Through this social welfare program, the centre government aims to eliminate the fear and misconceptions of the minority community, Muslim.As per the media report, the program will be officially inaugurated by the central minority affairs minister, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.The report added that some senior ministers of the Modi government including Rao Inderjit Singh and Kishan Pal Gurjat will participate in the inauguration ceremony.While speaking to the media personals, a concerned officer claims that the inauguration ceremony is scheduled to happen at Bichhor village in Punhana.He added that nearly ten thousand people would attend the most awaited social welfare event.It is learned that in order to implement inclusive development, the concerned authorities will seek people’s opinion on the development plan.
