The report reminds the international community the need of immediate interface to avert a possible disaster. While responding to the reporters regarding the issue, a UN humanitarian coordinator claims that those agencies providing food to the starving population are ready to scale up their resources and aid. Meanwhile, he admits that these agencies are facing some struggle due to the lack of proper funding. An Islamic terror organisation functioning in the country, Al-Shabab, is creating continuous disturbance in the country as well as its neighbouring countries like Kenya. For years, this terror organisation has been battling the Somalian government supported by the International agencies like United Nations. This militant group is said to be an ally of the infamous terror organisation, al-Qaeda.
