The National Investigative Agency has busted an Islamic State cell operating in Hyderabad, and arrested at least ten operatives in a national wide operation. As per report, the arrested criminals were planning attacks across the country. Report added that the cops have ceased money, explosives and weapon during the operation. It is learned that the Hyderabad police force have actively participated along with the NIA to carry out the search operation in the IT city. It is said that the arrested IS operatives got in touch with the terror outfit through the social media platform. Earlier, there were reports that the Islamist terror outfits are largely utilising the social media platforms to radicalise youth and to propagate ideologies. In a similar operation, the cops had arrested some IS operatives from the state around three months ago.
At this movement, it is not clear whether the arrested criminals have any connection with the former arrestees. Media reported that the authorities are keenly verifying all possible angles. Report added that the national wide search operation for the radicalised IS criminals is effectively progressing. Hyderabad is presently under prohibition due to violent strikes and demonstrations organised by the lawyers. Experts say that the government must articulate feasible formula to check the growing anti-national operations through the social platforms. It seems that continuing political disturbances in the IT capital is providing a soft-bed for the radical groups to establish and flourish abruptly.
