The US is considered as the symbol of wealth and richness. It is definitely one of the most powerful countries in the world in terms of wealth and security. Notably, it is a capitalist country as well.

Interestingly, a report prepared by the US government department exposes the flaws in the capitalist economy the country has been eagerly and aggressively following and nourishing since its birth.

As per the latest report, in this wealthy nation, above five lakh peoples are still homeless and are staying in streets and temporary shelters.

Some political experts allege that the United State show no interest to listen to the downtrodden. They add that it is run and controlled by an elite group of wealthy businessmen.

They further add that it has been like this since its birth and will continue to behave like this until a significant change in its economic policy is adopted.

Fortunately, the number of homeless people is still at least thirteen per cent less than what it was in the year 2010, the year which saw a significant rise in the number of homeless in the country.

The unfortunate fact is that this year the number of homeless people has increased for the first time since the terrible year of 2010.

Los Angeles and New York are the two main cities, which has witnessed a significant hike in the number of homeless people this year.

A government source claims that the government has several limitations, so the social groups should step in and should help in finding a solution to the issue.

How can one live in a city where the average monthly house rent is several folds higher than the average monthly salary of the city’s working population?
